Whether you’re a fresher looking to come up to Glasgow in September, or a hardened 5th year who’s about to leave, GUCU has a place for everyone. If it’s getting stuck into the Bible in the first year hall groups you want, getting out on campus through the GU and QM stalls, or just coming along to the main CU team time on a Wednesday, there’s no shortage of activities to help you get involved.
A core aspect of CU is the weekly meeting, where we pray, worship, and learn about God together.
Without God working in all the stuff we put on, it’s completely pointless. Only he can make a real difference, and so prayer is essential.
CU holds hall groups in each of the campuses, where first years can get together for banter, and dig into God’s word.
Hundreds of students go through the Unions each Thursday and Friday, so the stalls are one of a key aspect of the CU’s outreach.
As well as regular activities, CU has lots of one-off or yearly events, such as Acoustic Nights, or the Fresher’s week activities.
On top of the normal events, regular activities specifically for International Students are also organised.
